there was some click bait-y article about a "concern" over an easter candy shortage because one truck containing tons of a candy bar that to my knowledge no one has ever associated with easter had been hijacked somewhere in europe. got a lot of derision in the ensuing thread that it was bullshit and just overhyped for pr purposes. today im seeing stories in the financial press how the story has become a pr victory for the brand.

and dont get me started on marmite.

Lucy brought some of these home. Very sweet but also taste like what sewage smells like plus garbage.

None of us knew of the fruit's reputation.  I think she got them out of curiosity, a new flavor she hadn't tried yet. We all spit them out.
