what sayest thou of this chair bill and co? i found a pair on the street and despite having no discernible use for them i decide to adopt them temporarily. want my friend with the house upstate to take them but he is a dipshit as i have previously mentioned. cant find a brand but found a similar type which i wont link to now because because because because..... slightly dampened by the rain but seem structurally sound, moss notwithstanding.

oh no! there was one of these on the street over the weekend. i could have been twinsies with mb. top was separate with bag full of fasteners taped to it. base was in perfect condition, the top had issues. looked like where the screw were there were bumps in the cheap ass table top. it was probably 3/4 of a mile from where i am staying. i walked past it then two blocks late i turned around to check it out. the base was sturdy. did i mention that when i said it was in perfect condition?
i did a search and realized it was ikea (label still affixed, duh) but when i thought i looked it up it said $100. bad dave. bad dave. i was kind of embarrassed there on the street sizing up my options for an overlong period of time. i was ready to call for an uber for the short run but id need to get it uptown eventually which would require friendship or more ubering which at $100 with a busted top the table slowly lost its allure. but $300! could i have replaced the top easily? i dont even want to look.

I’m already good on chairs. The ikea piece is a knock off of the Eero Saarinen tulip table. I got the decent fiberglass copy dining-table my parents bought in 67
this will never stand the scrutiny of the owners and their child but i decided to be bored and give it a go. and i did my 12000 steps. hit #12000 when i was done redecorating and i tore that bitch from my wrist.

there was a hodgepodge of toys including a kiddie sink which was just filled with toys now and a box of toys in front of that picnic-y basket. the ottoman was where the seat on the right is. doesnt impede access to the kitchen to the right but impinges ever so slightly. i also bought them the couch cover as theres was full of holes and didnt separate the individual seat cushions. that one is a win for $25.
