well, robbing a 7/11, killing a police officer/security guard, carjacking at gunpoint, throwing explosives at police, getting into a shootout with police and fleeing the scene, not to mention the explosives strapped to the body, would indicate they were probably guilty of something.

i knew i should have gone with "allegedly." i expect shoddy guesswork from reddit but the news media never met a fact worth verifying before they go public although they did show restraint on the brown philosophy students identity.

Have no idea what this means: Now they say suspects DID NOT rob 7-11. "A statement from State Police spokesperson Dave Procopio says 'the bombers did purchase gas at a gas station in Cambridge later in the chain of events and we recovered images of them there.'" Media reported robbery for many hours. But now raises question: Why did they shoot MIT officer, who it's said was just sitting in car and not approaching them--especially since they did not rob the 7-11 and being hunted for that?

People have been using 7-11 all day. But I remember someone early on today correcting that it was a convenience store "type" place.

  • now its being said that they were at a 7-11 as it was being robbed by someone else which is how they were initially spotted.
