called the vice principal (the landlord across the street) on them today (they were banging from about 8pm til 2am) not so much because i thought it would help but mostly because it was he that installed them in the apartment and i wanted him to experience my frustration. but also he would likely get word to them about my discomfort. i do feel like a bit of a tattletale as i chose not to confront them directly. its not their fault really. there is just nothing to dampen the sound. (i was already concerned that i would be the loud one and now that ill be a hypocrite.) they had a few friends over and i could hear the yelps from the conversation practically as if it were in an adjoining room which essentially it is. eventually i had to move my bed into the other room which i may have to do permanently but i prefer it the way it is and hate that the most annoying person gets to dictate terms. mostly i just want to stop thinking about it because its put me completely on edge.
