St marks books I remember being on the north and then south side of St marks btwn 3rd and 2nd aves in the 80's before moving to the new construction of their Astor place location. Which WAS next to Tays (long gone) art supply. So the name hasn't been of much consequence for a while. St marks movie theater was mainly on 2nd ave but I think had an obscure approach entrance on St marks. St marks church in on 2nd ave btwn 10th and 11th.
