Yes, duck farm.  I have been told that there are not many of us and that there are two modern spellings - Doughton and Doughten but that they are the same family.  There were only two Doughtons in the portland phone book when I was growing up, my father and my aunt.  In the 80's I found a Doughten in the NYC white pages.
