Absolutely breathtaking. Surely whatever is at the heart of
the Kirghiz light cannot be extinguished by the hateful
pissings of the gringos,as these rugs loudly testify. A few years ago in San Christobal da la Casas we encounterd the same energy flowering in the traditional Mexican fabric dolls; tiny Zapatistas sporting exact miniature replicas of
--suprise, suprise-- AKs & Kalishnikovs, cellphones & laptops!
