Better break out the cajun dictionary for that one. I've seen it rendered iko as well, but I'm unclear on the outcome of that debate.
As in Iko, Iko? First heard Dr. John do that song, but I never did understand it. Seems to vary a bit. deadlists.com says it's often spelled aiko on tapes, but that spelling does not appear elsewhere. Must be Voodoo, but you can dance to it.
