just got home from brunch with jim/MB took almost an hour--its also thundering from time to time
just as i finished reading that, i thought, when has it thundered? but before i could finish curling my lip, a clap from the heavens for doubting thomas, or whatever his name is, and im put in my place. well, i never left my place but i think you know what im mean. the sky is grumbling again, hes tiring of my act. jim says that the snow is light and fluffy. i just grabbed a handful from the windowsill. very snowball friendly. mmm, packed powder for a pact(s)pouter. ok, i need an aspirin.

has stopped snowing for now--i went to the twin towers and it was wildly windy with snow "sand dunes" everywhere--cool

i believe you were looking for "snow drifts". the northwest corner of nj was expecting up to 20"-30" inches.

drifts they were but due to the high winds they had a much more sahara texture
