This brings back a lot of memories. Marvel was pretty moribund by the mid ‘70s, but Englehart, Starlin, Gerber, and a few others came along with some great stuff that revitalized the genre. The article confirms what seemed obvious to me at the time: most them were total heads. Couldn’t find it, but I think I posted once about the Doctor Strange story featuring the origin of God; it’s still a mind-blower in my book.
