It's almost like nothing matters at this point, but this documentary looks pretty powerful: Iraq For Sale.

For instance, check out this clip about the Halliburton run water purification plants.

heres that other one i never got around to seeing. i wonder if by watching this ill end up coming down with a touch of gore fever. ( i hear its deadly...(wait for it)... boring.) i doubt it. i still cant forgive him for abandoning his principles in the first place.

halliburton, of course, charging $100 per duffel bag of laundry and still doing a hack job. why cant we string these fuckers up? cheney should have been swinging next to his buddy saddam.

watched an inconvient truth last night. i changed my mind. if al gore wants to be my professor, its ok by me, especially if he gets matt groening to supply him with visual aids. im just glad they found some time to do a little product placement for apple. i suppose thats some payback for helping him get rich in the past few years. im happy that gore has found purpose in his life, i just wish he had found it a little sooner.

Just picked up Iraq for Sale at local movie rental/art gallery. But have to finish watching Lumet's Pawnbroker with Rod Steiger which is proving to be pretty amazing if a little dark.

huff post says greenwald (the iraq for sale filmmaker) is part of this blog project.

(thought i had coined a phrase but couple of other people have used it. blogjective = blog + objective)

The IFS doc was good but not great. Nothing especially new, or any more startling than the clips. Some interesting information but seems a little bit slung together.

i was going to say something similar. im glad hes making these movies but for anyone paying attention theres little new info. that said, theres plenty of underinformed people out there. and live action images can be much more impactful coupling the emotional with the facts on the ground than text alone.

i thought the gore powerpoint presentation was more effective although i could have done without the massaging of the al gore mythos.
