Long Goodbye and Save the Tiger, two noir films released in 1973 with protagonists who spout tireome, cheezy dialogue into the hazy Los Angeles air.  But I'm a fan, especially of Save The Tiger

  • i remember liking the long goodbye years ago but tried to rewatch sometime not too long ago and couldnt get through it but maybe thats a badge of honor all things considered. still remain unconvinced by the stardom of elliot gould. never watched the other one. is that plimpton?  whoops, nope, thats paper lion. ol' jackie lemmon.

  • Segal was pure hokum on Carson with that ukulele. I loved how beer driven (low class) CS characters were
