| my friend who i watched it with was hoping it was going to make a larger critique of financial sector shenanigans too. i was just expecting a condemnation of the morals and lifestyle (undercut by the garish portrayal) which is what we got in spades. i still cant believe how unnecessarily long it was. it felt like he fell in love with these scenes and couldnt bear to chop them down and theres noone who could or would advise him otherwise.
