strike two. for an american losey loves a good game of cricket and simmering, repressed resentment. i dont know pinter so maybe thats to do more with his adaptations. losey apparently was blacklisted which is why he decamped for europe and undoubtedly why at least these two are so imbued with new wave disquiet, this one being, the accident.
