Is this an authentic outer space image, or a close up of Grandma's baked enamel roasting pot?

I CANNOT CONTINUE UNTIL I KNOW THE TRUTH!!!

it is exactly Grandma's baked enamel roasting pan. I even called her "Grandma."

Thank you for that clarification, I can calm down now.

bunnie fried egg pan

bunnies pan ripple

both of these nice space pan rifs sent in by Bunnie. For some reason the files were huge and I couldn't figure out how to make them tighter. So I just made smaller versions. Sorry Bunnie, but anyhow they still look cool.

I'm working on learning about animated gif compression.

There's a program called "a smaller gif" that alleges to do optimization. (I've just used the demo version.) The animated gif format allows difference coding: i.e, one only has to send the part of the image that is different. A gif compressed with this technique won't be as easy to modify as a "normal" compressed gif, but it can be dramatically smaller.

I'm thinking of elaborating on the "Fear" animation, perhaps doing a series based on that technique, and compression is the only way to keep it small. The demo version of "a smaller gif" reduced the "Fear" file size from about 40k to about 10k. I need to buy a copy ($28) to be able to actually save the compressed version.

I tried compression using another technique (transparency) with Coffee Cup's gif animator. I didn't get it right however. I got a slightly smaller gif and some wierd side effects.
