That's a real nasty in these parts! (but true)
This is a hoot, seems that a B.C. tory candidate was a bit naughty:
"Canada Customs and Revenue Agency alleges Zeisman tried to smuggle a 1989 Mercedes-Benz as well as 112 bottles of liquor in July 2004 from the U.S. into Canada. He's also accused of lying to customs officers about the incident." (the Mercedes sort of screws any Robin Hood defence, but I support bootlegging)
According to the CBC story, it's too late to take him off the ballot. (remind me to watch that riding's result on election night)
