i like the way that clip breaks my 'suspended disbelief' in the park/trees scenario - it kind of reveals through locating it on the map(maybe?), and makes me think about how strange it is to go to a designated nature area - and how compartmentalized it has become in some (most?) areas. "welcome to the park" "you are now leaving the park". i don't even know if i'm saying it the way i'd like to say it. anyway, in contrast to that, i can imagine seeds finding their way to the highways, and working themeselves into the cracks in the pavement, like highway dissidants, counter car culture seeds.
assuming of course, that the birds don't go and eat them first.

Are those birds blackbirds? Is there any implied commentary about the proliferation of overabundant "trash" species and the spread of humans, in the face of decreased biodiversity? I sure hope not, since it is forbidden to suggest that humans are a "cancer on the planet."

I love crows too (but those are black birds, like Tom said).

Whenever I see a bird that's black, my razor sharp mind clicks in and tells me that I love crows

I really liked seeing you movie last on the big screen. Still thinking about it.

Whoah, Tino-dude your film totally rocked. Very inspiring and made me laugh all the way through. Granted, Rick is a natural film star, but I love your pacing, your tone, your composition, your joie de vivre. It's tight, and it's beautiful.
