there's a spotlight article about anitra's work in canadian art. i really like how some of her work is large in voice and in contrast - the satchel gallery is a more intimate meme.

i think my kid is too young to not want to go for a ride on the bucking bomb.

Thank god that Anitra uses her super powers for good instead of evil. (and what kid wouldn't want to ride a bucking bomb)

oh ya - i wouldn't stop him from riding it - get that megalomania out of his system at an early age.

he spends more time than most adults do looking at the art at openings before he starts crawling under the drinks table or feeling people up. so i afford him the luxury of turning a blind eye to his heresy. plus i have a theory that the right quantity of neglect leads to creative children.
