From the Farm to the Fork with a short stop at the petting zoo at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. Last weekend we visited the fair to see if animals were happy and loved us.

The portraits in the post below are from the Canadian Agricultural Hall of Fame Gallery, (sponsored by SEMEX) in a room attended by two older gentlemen who were happy and loved us.

"At Semex, we know everyone has a goal.

If your goal is a healthy cow that effortlessly produces rivers of milk, lactation after lactation, the Semex Health Power sires are for you. We believe that all cows should be profitable cows, not special needs cows that drain your time and money."

heh... "special needs cows"

When my rural animal loving youngest niece was 10 years old she used to read a magazine called "Brood Bitch Monthly". (she couldn't figure out why we were laughing so hard)

I shot a lot of video footage of the petting zoo, those nasty little goats never disappoint.
