The stretch-wrapped globe is cool. Having staged equipment for transport to (video electronics commercial) expositions, the materials are familiar. I have to admit wondering, "Can you get a fork under that?"
I've followed Michelle's progress for years, and have to say I love her work. Sculpturally she speaks with a sotto voice that requires you to lean in close to hear. If you do, it will reward you.
It is the intentionality of her process that is ultimately convincing.
