Instead of smoking, I am constantly scrolling and clicking, (clicking absolutely nothing and nervously scrolling up and down every page I'm on with the mouse wheel)

These make me want to smoke even more, LM. Nice job.

Now that I have stopped, I don't think anyone else really should. (mostly because I still love the smell and taste of cigarettes.)

Beautiful!

I once saw a stream that had the perfect combination of smooth round pebbles, and standing ripples that met at 90 degrees to produce a square pixel effect on the stones. I've thought many times (just last last night as we looked at the fountain in Mel Lastman Square for instance)
about building a stream to do that. I think it can be done.

Sparkle-tastic! I love the verticality of this image and it makes me want to stand under a very tall waterfall on this very hot day. (yeah.....I could go for a smoke too. but I quit. sigh.)

Thanks, thom. Last night I was trying to animate some snow images from last winter, (I hate summer) but so far nothing interesting came out of that.

Well I for one would love to see some snow images in the middle of summer. I used to collaborate on a snow-themed winter performance with Shannon Cochrane. I always wanted to do something 'snowy' during this season because of the impact/clash/contrast with how people mentally feel during the heat.

During heatwaves, I often have a winter photo as my desktop, playing Lara Croft winter, or swimming is kinda cool too. In Baldur's Gate 2, you can get the sound of walking in the snow, you know that squeaky sound when it is bitterly cold.
