giantfreak

As of today there's a giant fucking freak in my house stalking my every move.

Sandra Rechico, who I will no longer refer to as a 'ho (on-line anyway) is now a saint for driving the three hour return trip to pick up an insanely happy beast who spent most of the ride drooling all over her head.

Bat-boy.

congrats, he's a beauty! He also tastfully accents the designer doggie bed. can't wait to meet him!

I named him Shagbat for the vet records and Bat-boy for home. He's a huge country bumpkin, and totally freaked out by cars, motorcycles, small terriers and elderly women on canes ...so far. I'm sure the list will expand. He's also feeling vulnerable on the leash with a new headcollar, but I can't control him otherwise, he's too strong, even for me.

He's an angel in the house, but after two walks today we are both shell-shocked.

(and the bugger refuses to lie down on his fabulous designer doggy bed)

Perfect!

I once knew a family whose cat's name was Mediocre Fred. The kids lied about it at school, and said its name was Fluffy.

Wow, best cat name ever! Thank you M.Jean for my howling laugh of the day.

youppi
For some reason Bat-Boy reminded me of Youppi. Maybe it's just the dogs and baseball combo.
In any case, Youppi was the best baseball mascot - even better than the Philli Fanatic.

And did you pass a restful first night? Did Shagbat spurn his own spanking new bed in favour of yours? Were you ready to strangle him at 3 am?

Awwwww He is just TOO adorable.

The most alarming thing about yesterday was that Bat-boy was so hyped that he panted non-stop, so it was like having a big pervert hanging around the house.

At 3:00 am (my usual bed time) he was just standing in the middle of the room staring at me and wagging his tail. I couldn't stop laughing --and wondering what the hell I was thinking when I decided to adopt the biggest Labrador in captivity.

Turns out he is very well brought up and went to sleep on my livingroom floor without any fuss. (there is a major no dog on the bed rule at my home)

Today, he's flopped out on my floor like a big potato. I have someone in today working on my house and he's been flopping himself down on the floor as well to cuddle with the big beast. (all just way too adorable.)

she looks like she could be ridden
- anthony (guest) 7-22-2007 1:00 pm

wow, he's a beaut. Big enough to sleep 2 or 3 cats too.

Today he lunged for a small child and two of my neighbours, plus his breath is vile.

But otherwise he's fucking precious. (at least I think so when I look at his picture, since I don't want to get too close to sewer mouth until I change his food)
