The colours and the composition really appeal to me too. And Sally is coming back soon from some brain test thingy (that she told us about last night but we weren't listening, or was it just me that wasn't listening?) and I thought this would relax her after a hard day of looking at optical illusions.

For example, this one would totally screw her up:

That's funny! After the brain test thingy I got off the subway at Yorkdale mall and looked at live kittens at the pet store. I also saw a young man transfering a python from a plastic tub into a tank. He was a bit tentative with the python and explained to me that normally he doesn't mind handling it, but that the tub it was in had previously had rats in it, and he was thinking it was probably in a biting mood. In case anybody is worrying the brain test thingy was fun and interesting. I was a subject in a research study (ie: as far as I know there's nothing wrong with my brain, except I can't tell left from right half the time). I'm not going to tell you anything about it right now because they are looking for subjects who don't have preknowledge of the test. If anyone wants to do it let me know.

Magejb says he would do it if they are not scientologists.
- galenagalaxian 6-12-2008 2:46 am

He also has an illusion like the kitties, with an endless stream of bananas
- galenagalaxian 6-12-2008 2:47 am

Bananas are good too! They are not scientologists, neurologists fair and square, and they have a lab downtown so you don't have to take the trip to York U. I think Magejb might like it. I'll get you the info.

i love yorkdale mall.
- anthony (guest) 6-12-2008 4:49 am

I don't think that Yorkdale mall and York U. are the same place, but double check that with Sally, she's the big fancy scholar around here.
- L.M. 6-12-2008 5:17 am

they are similar. The foodcourt is nicer at Yorkdale Mall but there is no library there.

Hey Mr. Nobody, who do you like better? L. Ron or Elrond?

- sally mckay 6-12-2008 6:35 pm

All this talk about surfclubs lately on Rhizome has turned my mind to mush. Semiotic bubblegum culture and technology riffs with cats and other stuff. Nerds obsessing over whether its art or not. Ever get the feeling the internet is really small? I like this hyrdo poles on fire post at spirit surfers a lot.

I prefer Enron! as represented by this photo of Kenneth Lay during his Elmer Fud phase.

awwwww aint he cute. I would put a vote in for L. Ron's cravat. I think it would make a lovely animated gif.

Sally, you get your left and right wrong 70% of the time. Way to often to be random. Get the brain folks to explain that one.
