this looks like a very fun room to be in.

My edit - with animated GIFs of (my) animated GIFs.

L.M., several people have asked about your frames - are they made to display video or are they customized by you for the work and/or show? (Lots of questions and confusion still about display of animated GIFs.)

I just sent the files in through drop box. They did the frames. My aesthetic is closer to this sort of piling on:

I was under the impression that the framed monitors at Denison were computer screens, not TV's. (I don't have a problem with going to video either)

I asked because everyone who has investigated "media playing frames" reports that they don't handle GIFs, or don't handle them worth a damn. From the installation-in-progress shots it looks like they went to some trouble mounting the monitors with your GIFs (3 to a page--did you send them an HTML page to hold the GIFs?--that's what I did for most of mine) and then centering the white frames around the monitor with a carpenter's level. I was curious why they did this. Not that it looked bad--it reminded me of the "Torch" computers that Olia and Drx showed their work on in NY, which is essentially a media-playing frame.

I sent them three html pages with the gifs rotated 90 degrees so the monitors could be set on their sides.

I rotated one group of mine because Paddy wanted to show the GIFs in a column format. Pages is the way to go, I think. Now I just need to take everything offline so the collector can have it locally--just kidding!
