Turrell likens the spare interior to Plato's cave, in which ''we realize that we perceive the outside reality incompletely. We think we are seeing the whole, but in fact we are only seeing part. We think we exist independently of nature, but we are very interrelated. We even influence the colors that we see.''

AIIEEE! Flash Site! Run away! Run away! (Talking about the Nasher.) Cut out sculptures come towards you, like advancing monsters! Koons Louis XIV bust--most people don't know it's s'posed to be tacky! Scary de Kooning Clam Digger looks like the scrofulous, shambling UnDead! Pop-ups hover and cannot be controlled! AIIIEEEE!
(Bill--I know you liked the space and aren't necessarily endorsing the website. I just can't resist the opportunity to make fun of WEB DESIGN RUN AMUCK! AIIEEEE!)
