It will take a lot more than a few transportation projects to turn that cesspool into a livable city.
It's more likely that the disposable 'burban sprawl will continue westward on I-10 until San Houstonio emerges as the biggest, ugliest and dirtiest city west of the Mississippi.
But that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.
BosWash, ChiPitts, SanSan, SanHoustonio. (The first three were megalopolises predicted in the '60s: ChiPitts never quite panned out.)
