There is a great documentary called "Dirt" about community gardens on the Lower East Side that features Adam Purple. They run it on PBS occasionally, but I've never been able to find it on line. My favorite line: "You can crap in a toilet if you want, but I'm building soil."

i saw him cruising around last week. made me think of it.
