a couple of weeks ago i saw end of the century on ch 13. last weekend i watched the other ramones documentary "raw" on dvd. there is allot more concert footage than the other one and lots of tour footage taken by marky i think. a couple of things strike me now that ive watched both. (btw: otis says each runs almost 3 hrs including the bonus material). dee dee is amazing and really funny. possibly the smartest ramone. he wrote allot of the songs. even after he left the band he still wrote songs. i'd kind of like to find out which ones are his.

i saw them there that year. could have been that show. i recall they did two sets. look at what a pop song list that is. i remember thinking how they had added (in the moment) east coast tough and speed to the old west coast surf sound of our youth.
