the silver paintings
This is a dangerous moment for an architect. The cultists who have followed her for so long have a habit of getting nervous once the public come to enjoy what was once their private preserve. In some quarters, Daniel Libeskind's critical reputation has never recovered since he made the egregious mistake of becoming popular. Will Zaha Hadid suffer the same fate?

I agree with a lot of what he says. Her paintings were so insightful to her work and completed her ideas. As far as I know Zaha has not picked up a paint brush in years. This seems like some Kenny Schachter scam (understatement) that she got suckered into. Sadly. "Give me permission to commission a painter to reproduce fourteen of your computer renderings, and I will give you 20% if I sell them." This then turns into "ZAHA HADID: SILVER PAINTINGS"... just a cynical guess.
By the way!, I don't see the 'painter' credited anywhere on KS's site.

Wolfsburg opens thanksgiving week. I am looking forward to hearing about it.

Danke bill.
