I'll have to forward this to D so she can better understand some of my aims with the home office project. "I know that color isn't cute. That was on purpose." And perhaps she'll have better hope of understanding what I mean when I speak about "a steel building."
Her neighbor, a retired old guy, has much more flat land than D does. Flat land is a valuable commodity in the mountains. I've thought about buying him out when the time comes, renting out his house, and putting up a steel building to house my motorsports equipment and tools. Okay, perhaps it could be wood construction, just to blend, but it would not be cute.
