the photographer then got the hairy eyeball from one of those guys and put the camera away.
Through the view finder I saw the "giant" looking at me wagging one of those big fingers side to side. Still gives me a chill.
I remember a sign at a County Fair somewhere in Central Texas (about 1982): "Wild Man Midget with Live Snakes." (I didn't go in the trailer.)
Hmmm...
Went back to the negs to see if I got the outside of the tent and only found "Ronnie & Donnie" The world's only living conjoined twin boys... The Gaylon Brothers. But Wild Man Midget with Live Snakes seems unmistakable.
