my brother john has had the bug to get a silver western style cowboy belt buckle for ages. hes been checking the local flee markets and not finding the one. he just scored on ebay.

made in mexico with mexican sterling silver. about say 40 years old. sold in florida by someone old at an auction assist service. he got caught up in the bidding and put in $125 and snagged it for $123 last minute. swell piece and well bought.

thats the thing. those big oval buckles are based on (or are literally) rodeo prize or championship buckles. this size and style goes back before (i think) those. this one is sized for all occasions.
