New Media vs Artists with Computers
Abigail Solomon Godeau
Thanks for the link. It took me five years to figure out how that Eggleston piece related to my own daily issues.
nicely done. i wish i could find this online: Abigail Solomon-Godeau's essay "Photography after Art Photography."
I will keep an eye out. It's in a book that I go back to again and again called Art After Modernism: Rethinking Representation, 1984, published by the New Museum and edited by Brian Wallis.

thanks skin. but i meant free online!!!! i should own it and thats a great price. ($93.01 new!!!) ill get on it.
Steward Willons in his testy amazon review overlooks what makes this anthology different from the sources he prefers. Pictures, man, pictures. It's a book about the "pictures generation," after all. (Plus good editorial commentary and overall structure and flow.) What a noodge.
