great story bill.....when they fixed the street in front of my pals wine store at 512 Hudson St they found very old liquor bottles (lots of them) that were embrossed 512 Hudson St Liquors (figured they made the bottles for the store, bought the whysky in bulk and bottled it them selfs).....it was cool for him to know it was a liquor (maybe wine??) shop for over 100 years but also people just drank in the streets and tossed the bottles, good times:>)
