Donald V "Duck" Dunn (born November 24, 1941) is an American bass guitarist, record producer, and songwriter. Dunn is notable for the "feel" and groove of his 1960s recordings with Booker T. & the M.G.'s and as a session bassist for Stax Records, which specialized in Blues and Gospel-infused southern soul and Memphis soul music styles. Dunn also performed on recordings with Muddy Waters, Freddie King, Jerry Lee Lewis, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Wilson Pickett, Guy Sebastian, Rod Stewart, & Roy Buchanan and many, many, many more.

been watching hee haw lately. some great performances in there too. rfd tv and tvland networks. are old snls being run on cable?

pretty sure e network runs old snls but im not sure what they consider "old." probably the jimmy fallon era.

I wouldn't know about cable - I don't have it - but I was thinking of the original band / Blues Bros Band.....

A bunch of years ago out on Fire Island we had an anniversary party celebrating (lamenting) the demise of the community of Bayberry Dunes http://www.lejabeach.com/Leja/Communities/bayberry.html - my father asked the boys from the band to come out and give us a concert. That was one swell evening, lemme tell ya.......... Session musicians are the best when they jam!
