David Wojnarowicz once told me about the factory where he purchased the food posters he used to paint and silk-screen on. People cutting out letters with x-acto knives could do a poster in 20 to 30 seconds.
wow. i thought he pulled them out of the trash. but that makes sense in retrospect. heres one
and another.
I think his earlier ones were pulled from the trash.
