we've switched about half our bulbs from compact fluorescent to LED, they look good. I recently bought a husky brand LED work light, it's bright without getting hot and the bulb should last decades longer than the halogens in my other lights but a fall from 4 feet and the bulb quit working. H0me Desp0t did replace it for free
