I don't mind that either, it's just a sad comment on our hype-saturated media culture that you have to "rediscover a much talked about lost album" to get ink (or pixels). The reviews are saying about Smile pretty much what they said about Smiley Smile: it's a bunch of weird novelty tunes sandwiched between two or three Strong Anthemic Statements. I like all of it, though. Have you heard "Friends"? That's one of my favorite post-Pet Sounds, pre-revival BB albums. It's insanely upbeat, really charming.
