"Here is another wonderfully simple and interesting painting by Fergus Henderson. This is a smaller painting, measuring: 8" x 10" x 3/4"d. It depicts a family kitchen, coffee pot on the stove, cat with a bowl of milk, morning paper, a jar of orange marmalade on the table and a green bowl (sugar?). The composition is too simple and yet just right and there is something charming about the whole scene, quiet, serene, and ...happy. I think this is a wonderful little piece and will look even better framed and hung in a kitchen or a small apartment. It is painted on a canvas stretchers, acrylic paints."
