Tsereteli is a complete scam. Not only was his Christopher Columbus a copy of his original Peter the Great that he was trying to pawn off - two for the price of one in fabricating.. Columbus was turned down by New York, Baltimore, Columbus, Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. Puerto Rico got taken and now the sculpture sits in pieces on the shore (which I think looks better than it would if it was assembled).
