I just did a taste test. I had Hecho en Mexico Coke in a glass bottle at lunch, and followed up with an Hecho en Estados Unidos Coke in a can. The Mexican coke wasn't labelled, but I presume it used sucrose. The American Coke is fructose of the damned.

I can sum up the difference in two words: fructose aftertaste.
