Nicolai Ouroussoff’s exciting article in The New York Times last Friday announced the preliminary selection of Field Operations and Diller, Scofidio & Renfro as the design team for the redevelopment of the High Line. Creative Time is honored to be a partner with this team to develop cultural programming. We have had the pleasure to work with Diller + Scofidio since our early days of presenting projects for Art on the Beach and 42nd Street.
We look forward to working with the architects and designers, the community, Friends of the High Line and the City to provide audiences with adventurous art experiences in this unexplored environment. The final design announcement is expected this September, and we will keep you informed as plans develop.
