I just want to remark on the significance of this piece: It is Ouroussoff's first tough stand at the NYTimes - and it is pretty relentless (understatement). This piece, plus Roberta Smith's criticism of the UBS show published on the very same day... does the Times have it out for the new MoMA? Whatever the case, if I were a curator, I would feel that the gauntlet has been thrown.
