but ultimately it cost DL his credibility. NO pointed out all the last round choices retained the original commercial content. he pointed out that DL took way too long to realize that those last round choices would be the easiest to manipulated away from his control. that it would be a market statement not an architectural one. he also eluded to "the families" obliquely as a negative force. CR kept bringing up frank gehry and NO kept demurring. except for the disney concert hall. wouldnt outright slam him.
