ok auction over. my friend sniped it w/ a 310 bid that met the $300 minimum. I called him earlier today to let him know it was up for auction. i look forward to seeing this piece in real life! thanks to todays commenter we found this piece. so thanks.
Some time ago, I noticed a few paintings by fergus henderson and shared my interest in these will Bill. We both thought right away that his work was special. As Bill mentioned, i think this is some of the most intersting outsider work to come down the bay in a while - by either known or unknown outsiders. I missed a couple of earlier works of his sold on ebay but didn't miss this one. I'll post again once I see the painting in person.
