Po-Mo lit theory would say there’s no such thing as misinterpretation, or that it doesn’t differ from interpretation as such. But that was before. Here’s another chance for the Right to attack those soulless academics who teach our children all that anti-American intellectual junk. Can ivory towers survive when steel ones fall? Can retrenchment roll back ideas, ways of looking at the world? Ways of thinking we’ve long considered a fait accompli?
