I heard about the foam pads being necessary. My carpenter is going to build the frame and attach it to the front wall of the house, but we were looking for some precise instructions on the type of foam pads for the contact areas, could not find a damn thing on line.

(the nails in the deck from over 20 years ago are what got me into this mess)
