Odetta, Studs Terkel, Obama's grandmother ... it's a sad trilogy of unable-to-attends, vis a vis the inauguration. I have my differences with Chicago's Favorite Son (being a native Windy Cityite with beefs aplenty toward Chicago "Democrats"), but it's too bad these fine people can't enjoy the event.
