If all you remember were the bathrooms, you musta been totally wasted, man! No, this was a few years later, like '84 or '85, I think.
The Palladium was a horrible place for concerts! I saw Frank Zappa on Halloween there, and Rush around the same time, and the acoustics were not appropriate for such loud volumes. In fact, I had to leave the Rush concert because it was so loud (and I wear hearing aids!). A couple of years later I ran into Geddy Lee in St. Barth's - I complained, and he agreed the Palladium sucked. Said it was too small. And then he said: Want your money back? We had a laugh. Nice guy.
