He mentioned Baudrillard's Conspiracy of Art during the lecture (with a demonic grin). Frieze called him an "imp of the perverse" dispensing "nihilist irony." I like a lot of what he says but am not sure how much is pulling our chains. One could be forgiven for coming out of the USSR in the 70s with a dark outlook.
